I went with Visconti for my tune based on all the very positive recommendations and INFORMATION I read on this forum! It's a great tune and just because a very vocal minority on this forum hate him personally and are actively trying to dissuade all members from using him doesn't mean much to me. JV might be an asshole in person, don't know, don't care. All I care about is that I got a great tune for my money. +17WHP, +10lbs TQ and no TQ dip.
As for Borla headers, mine is far from "garbage". I've seen better and worse before. The Borla UEL eliminates the TQ dip and makes good HP with a good tune. You can do a little better for a lot more money but that's usually the case with everything in this world.
Why don't you try promoting your favorite tuner and header maker rather than polluting threads like this with your blind hate? I believe there is a vendor review section if you're not happy with your JV tune and Borla header, assuming you even have either...

From my own experience, the quality of JV's tune depends on the quality of the gas the end user has. My AM was dropping like a rock in a vacuum when I was on JV's pump gas tune, even after the typical "looks good." I switched to Delicious Tuning's 91 octane tune and the AM almost didn't move at all. I still got three updates (iirc) as Bill made sure the AM didn't move at all and cleaned up a few, exceptionally mild, drivability issues.
I've seen a lot of guys say they are happy with JV's work, but I'm pretty sure every one of them have had decent gas available to them. If someone falls under that catagory then they should be fine with JV. But for everyone else, I wouldn't let him anywhere near my car.
