There are of course different tuners, therefore totally different types of tunes, how many hours you have placed into your specific tune versus the other tuner, especially since there are only two of these setups in the world. As far as forced induction tuning, there are maps in EcuTeK Custom Mapping that I do use to offer a better tune to my customers that is not offered in any other system at the moment. And they are important to the reliability of the vehicle, therefore I need to use EcuTeK.

As the question was asked, can you tune with other systems? Of course I will not say you can not, I just do not prefer anything else. I have tried and reviewed the other options, yes. Are there any features that stand out (in other avenues) from EcuTeK that I would prefer? Currently no, not in this market.

Also as a long time tuner of EcuTeK, for my personal business reasons the support is there, every day and night, not only by the company itself but the tuners that also use EcuTeK. So this offers me the ability to tune a customers vehicle and offer the level of support I NEED to be able to deliver.

i agree that the demands of some guy tinkering at his house (me) vs people who do this for a living for lots of other people are very different. my point was just countering the argument that some people (not you) make that ecutek is somehow mandatory for tuning forced induction on the fa20. that's not the case. helpful and probably fantastic, yes. mandatory, no lol.
