I stand by my concern, though. Properly fitted tires on 9 inch rims are too large for this car. I have real issues with function taking a back seat to style when it comes to choosing rim/tire combinations. I have never understood the logic of stretching a narrow tire over a rim that is too wide for it. It just seems like it's begging for trouble.

I was told by evasivmotor and ravspec that these cars on 18x8. front 18x9.5 would fit on stock suspension and an inch drop. even with 255 rear and 225 front.? just wondering. Te37SL was the specific wheel. Jive turkey have it set up square 18x9.5 all around with camber and a drop. apparently its working out well for him on the track.
