The Reference Series (prior to November 15) is Balanced by default (producing deep audiophile bass reproduction).

All "modifications" are already in place. Meaning the Reference 400CF is completely up to date with no pending updates.*The changes made to the system were primarily installation related (cutting the installation time in half). The front 3.5" speakers no long need to be sent in for the Bypass Umbilical Cable. Reference Upgrade Installation video to follow shortly (sorry for delay waiting on editor).

Additionally the Reference Series now includes the ability to select "What type of low frequency (bass) reproduction do you prefer." Choosing between Balanced, Full and Robust

@kludger, we'd be stoked to arrange for a Reference audition. PM us your zip code and we'll see if there is a Reference Series available near you.

All O+ tuning delivers our signature sound. Here is brief regarding each Low Freq option:

Balanced: All about detailed reproduction. Deep bass without impeding highs.
Full: For the enthusiast Driver with a Aftermarket exhaust. Rich bass sound.
Robust: Max impact sound. Bass that is felt without the loss of clarity.
