Your missing the point a bit. This is to match a ESC to a particular engine. This supercharger works on many different engines. Generally speaking the tq300 flows enough to not cause a restriction on a 300 HP engine. When you have less than 300hp that extra cfm turns into pressure.

If you put a tq250 on a 300hp car it would be a restriction on the top end and cause a net loss in very general terms.

Same things goes the other way. You don't want to put the tq30p on a city golf. It will create to much boost on the bottom end and cause problems.

The number after the "tq" refers to the maximum ENGINE HP that the supercharger can supplement to add power before becoming a restriction.

For the frs the tq250 is perfect. With some tweaks the tq300 may work very good as well.
