I forgot to reply to your earlier question about what sort of setup we have. This response might be too late, but FWIW I use a
Fanatec RennSport Wheel Stand V2 and a common padded folding chair.
A full-blown racing seat would be fun, and my kids would love it, but somehow I don't think my wife would be keen on it in the middle of the living room
