You implied that since the 510 *LOOKS* (to you) like a Lada, that it must only be as good as a Lada as a racer/rally car. Ridiculous! The 510's engine, chassis, and suspension are far superior to the Lada's.

Yes, looks are important, but if car A looks like car B, that does NOT mean that it shares other characteristics with it.

Personally, I like the looks of the 510, it's styling is understated but well-proportioned and neatly detailed. And I love the idea of a sports car that looks like a boxy sedan

You have something against the French? Does it go back to their declining to support Desert Storm? If so, oh well.

PS My wife says its ugly too. From the people that brought you the Juke, Leaf, 370Z and a bunch of big bum shaped SUV's. Oh yeah, real leader in styling currently...choke choke.
