I am not defending the GC. I am calling it like I see it. You are the one that's defending the FR-S. You damn well know both cars share the same amount of parts with a sedan counterpart. I have been following the FRS/GC before both went on sale so I heard everything that Subaru said that they did with the FRS/BRZ.

The GC and the sedan doesn't share the same interior, exterior, suspension tuning. But they share almost the same platform and V6 engine with different tunes. Doesn't all of that ring a bell with the FR-S?

(ie a little bit lighter and smaller, then maybe the suspension wouldn't need to be so harsh with the track pack, etc...)

It tries to hit two markets (not necessarily car classes) what the FR-S/BRZ is going after with the 2.0T and what the G37 is with the V6 (some of the paint schemes are very Infiniti), but focuses too much on the GT-side of the G37 for me.

Pending summer test drive of course. Going to go back to back, FR-S and GenCoupe 2.0T, same day I think. I've decided I can live with the new face in an all black car if the dynamics are improved, and the manual transmission is fixed.
I drove a track model on one of the worst roads for my test drive and I can tell you this much, it is greatly exaggerated by some testers. It's firm yes but which sports coupe isn't?
