I'm in Canada so we don't get the exact same options, but from what I remember, the upgraded BeSpoke you guys got for the 2013 was just a touch screen, with a few little apps. The stock ghetto unit does have bluetooth. The only thing the BeSpoke added was a touchscreen and apps that really only worked with an iPhone. Like you could connect your iPhone to the BeSpoke head unit and have it display the maps app from your phone onto the head unit screen. Basically a "fake" navigation system. But it didn't work all too well and people hated its useless apps/features.
The new 2014 one is basically the same, but without the useless BeSpoke apps. Also, the 2014 head unit itself is a lot cheaper than that. Less than $300, I believe, but I think for $1198, you get the 2014 head unit with true GPS navigation like the BRZ.
