Changing the current GT86/BRZ engine right now would piss off a lot of people who already made purchase on this already amazing machine. It does not make sense from a marketing perspective as these cars are already selling really well. I would say give it 5 years or never. Maybe the next gen will get a slight power increase and body style changes. I sure hope they don't change the body as it is already pretty much perfection.
