Mhm... maybe you're missing the point of my comment - no one prefers a low red line on this car, at least I don't as well as you. But I am not focusing on red line necessarily - I am focusing on subaru's turbo version of the engine (hence, "use as a benchmark") and then using that to build off of to use as a reference. I also get that it won't be exactly like a factory built one...
