its kinda like a slush box
it has a locking torque converter
2-6 its fully locked like a DCT so no parasitic loss and throttle inputs arent sluggish
1st gear its unlocked with a low stall rate so its not as slushy as your common corolla plus traffic stops arent as bad as a DCT...
also its based off the F series Lexus transmissions, so quicker shift times in the auto that many many of its competitors
the LFA doesnt even use a DCT, dont worry about the auto, like everything about this car, instead of ridiculing it, just take one for a test drive, if you like it you like it...
