I hear a lot of talk on this forum about being lightweight and saving ounces everywhere but I think that a very small percentage of these cars will ever see a scenario where this stuff really matters. Anyone who will be seriously tracking the car will gut the interior and for all the weekend warriors out there, 10 lbs isn't going to make a big difference compared to just being a better driver.
Ill probably buy a limited model and will never notice the extra weight because it doesn't become apparent until you approach the limits of the car which I will probably never do.

The last thing you want distracting you from turning out a hot lap is a cold bum. Even during the summer, the morning heat can be rather cool. I'd take the 10 lb penalty every time!
