How is the 999 on your rotors? Once I started using really agressive pads (Carbotech XP12) on an OEM brake system I would have to replace rotors every 3-4 track days to avoid fully fracturing OEM replacement rotors.

After you get fast enough you shouldn't use hybrid pads at all. I didn't get the impression that was the case with the guy asking for advice. Most people start out with a hybrid pad so they don't have to keep swapping brake pads every event. If they get to the point to out grow a hybrid pad the pad set will be close to being toast anyway so it'll be a good time to upgrade.
