You don't want anything on your window glass. That will get onto the scraper/seal and then your side window will always be messed up.

Use silicone type spray for rubber seals on the door seals. It soaks into the seal and won't mess up the glass. Be very careful,what you put on your window glass as once ya contaminants get onto the scraper/ seal at the top of each door it is a rpita to get it cleaned off.
