I'm a little bit disappointed but also realistic. This isn't that bad at all. Front looks great but the rear and sides just don't seem to fit. Maybe a little spoiler would complete the look, or maybe I just need to see it in person.
Hopefully it will have:
6 speed
275 hp (at least)
good shocks
good brakes (maybe FHI 4 pots?)
good steering feel
decent gas mileage
and won't cost >$30k.
That would certainly help my opinion of the car.

I agree with all of this, I think the 6MT is an absolute based on the leaked mule pictures... The knock out for me would be a rear Torsen as the rest would be easy enough to fix.
