I looked at other straights on the track like the one between 4 and 5. In the full video of the session (haven't posted it yet) where I have a clean lap I am showing 105 mph max there. I see you at 97ish. Maybe you are right that on super long straights the heat soak kills power.
Agreed, first thing I noticed during my ride-along in your car is the nice pull out of the corners (compared to my stock set-up, which feels more like a slow 'build-up"). It was most evident at the short straights, ie 3-4, 4-5 and most noticeably going up hill on 6-7. I did notice a feeling of tapering-off during the pull on the long straight, as we crest over the start/finish line. Could be due to heat, as you guys mentioned, although I'd imagine that you would have the least problems at the long straights since you would have max airflow/cooling Can't remember how it did from lap-after-lap though...
