I have the V grapes and the fire red 3M tongue, and the quality doesn't really seem to be that great to me. I miss the days when the leather would be so thick, it would bulge out at the stitching like on those OG Laneys! The leather on the toe cap is so stiff and cardboard like, it makes me sad. Plus the material on the ankle looks to be just be some kind of synthetic!
I'm really thinking of getting some OGs or something and just getting them sole swapped, seems like there's quite a few guys doing that service now.
