finally got the ODB 2 reader. So the CEL error i was receiving was P0128 (powertrain coolant bellow temperature spec.
I had the car idle for about 10 minutes and received a temperature of 167 degree. I started to drive around and the temperature climbed to around 187. The max temperature i received tonight after 20 minutes of driving was 192.2. My coolant level is normal.
Do you think i should clear the CEL with the application or have the dealer check it out?
Im almost leaning towards the dealer on this one.
