DO NOT mess with the suspension. There is no need. Every suspension mod will change the cars handling charactoristics. If it does not suit your driving style you will hate it and it could be dangerous. Some people like understeer, some oversteer. It all depends. Drive it stock and learn what you want from the car. Read part reviews and figure it out from there or ask specific feedback in tech sections to get appropriate respsonses.

So you're saying not to mess with it at all? I've heard that too what about the eibach springs they just give it a modest drop and I've read slightly improve the handling a bit sacrificing anything. I'm not sure if that's all hearsay or not though.
I didn't want to actually touch the suspension at all, just the tower and sway bars and such.
How do I want the car to drive....hmmm, I want a reasonably stiff, low center of gravity (lower than it is now) that is nimble around small winding roads and also good in the city/suburbs. It's my daily driver, I commute in it 5x a week too sometimes in traffic.
I want the car to have more power and a little more aggression to it. Nothing major, maybe increase the quickness of acceleration and a little bit of power. I'm keeping it n/a so no turbo for me.
I also like parts that are strong, light, and reliable. If that means swapping out brake cables for heavy duty cables, or installing a stronger shift spring, or better bushings then I am likely to do it.
What I've noticed is that I want the shifter to actually be tighter and shorter. I want better braking power I've actually been underwhelmed with the braking power so that is definitely something I want.
For aesthetics I also want wheels tires.
I want more growl out of the car, but I want it to have functionality too. I just am nervous about all this "tuning" I hear you need to do when you get exhaust and CAI. I don't want to mess with something I'm not familiar with.
I'm not interested in installing electrical components other than maybe HIDs because I hate having new switches and wires to conceal. It's not my thing.
I want some nice seat covers (the SARD ones are really nice) these are purely aesthetic obviously.
Idk...there is a whole list of things I currently want.
I want the car to look mean, aggressive, and have the aggression to back up it's looks.
I'm realistic and know my car won't gain 100hp or anything. I just want it to be a very sexy and well put together car (and it already is all of those things already)
