Modifications are PMu CR brake pads, whiteline front camber bolts, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in OEM size, on OEM wheels.. The MPSS tires seem a lot more predictable and forgiving than OEM primacys, which give you some more confidence. It didn't seem like I had that much more grip with the MPSS, so I took a look at my lateral G data. Interestingly, the MPSS have a tough time sustaining 1.0G, which is exactly what the OEM primacys did. I compared to my friend's BFG rival tires, which are 10mm wider than stock, and on wider rims with wider offset. He was able to sustain 1.1G. With a lot of improvements to be made still, I ran 1:53 with my setup.

Fast laps and glowing rotors start at 4:40, footwell view starts at 8:36

I do keep saying that the OEM Primacys are really good tires... they just overheat quickly and stuffer from tread squirm.
