Im not sold on it; I ran it in my BRZ on track for two days and it caused the oil temps to get a bit higher than i'd like; in the 290's, once I switched to a 0w20 (Toyota OEM oil) it brought the oil temps down about 10 degrees. I did Blackstone UOA on the GC 0w30 and the Toyota 0w20 and the Toyota offered just as good protection as the GC in terms of wear metal readings.
Lower oil temps, good protection and cheaper/easier to get - I have been running the Toyota OEM 0w20 ever since. I change it out after 4 track days (2 weekends).
