Any RWD car that you are willing to crash is a good drift beginner car...

Yes, of course some cars are better than others, but if you haven't tried to drift before, and are planning to go all out D1 style, you better have something you are willing to replace body panels on. From my experiences in the mountains of Japan, that's a nightly occurance for the drivers up there.
