I'm half considering getting the heat fixed in my MR2, raising the coilovers to max height, throwing snow tires and mudflaps on it, and making a rally/snow beater out of it! As of right now it's just sitting around collecting dust

You ever hang out on the MR2 forums?
328FTW did rally racing in his AW11 and actually had a "mudder" AW-11. So I think it can be done. (can prolly find his build over there...he is good about providing pics if you ask him)
And my big secret...I will eventually buy a used AW11 again when I move and have a bigger garage to mess with it. Loved my 2 deuces.
Oh, about Lexus...I always liked the IS300 and have come close to buying those. The GS400 is fun too...but for the most part...I always felt the smart money was just on a Corolla a Camry or a Avalon if a 4-door 'Yota was your thing (or of course a 4 Runnner or Land Cruiser)
