Great choice.. I had a C6 Z06 for a few years.. Absolute blast to drive! It's a bit of a beast and a handful when pushed.. The manual lets you hit 60 in 1st gear.
Was my favorite thing to do.. Scared the crap out of people who never been in a vette before.. Endless torque at any rpm, tenacious grip that will distort your face on accel and corners.. All this ... Yet I prefer driving the FRS !!
There is a purity about the FRS that is hard to beat.. It's more nimble and forgiving.. Less weight, narrow tires and wheels contribute to a one piece feel about the car that you don't get with fat tires and wide wheels.
While I miss those blasts to 60 and the instant locomotive torque of the LS7..
The FRS makes up for it with its care free handling, nimbleness and it's one piece feel..
