Kostamojen answered your other questions, but I suppose with a pipe bender and some time you could bend the rear-facing tube to be straight up. Or you could try to cut the bent part off and add a new bead to the pipe then install the heater hose.

Other option would be to weld a pipe to fit a 3/8 inch hose onto the BRZ water pipe near where the oil cooler hose would join the FXT pipe.

I went for a bolt-on solution and thats why I used almost all of the OEM parts without modification.
