Ummm... Driving around in 60 degree weather with the air ON, recirc OFF, AC OFF - 85 degree air blowing out of the vents!
NONE of my previous cars have ever done this!
I am just guessing it is a combination of engine bay heat soak on the vents AND that they do not divert the incoming heat away from the heater core.
Has anyone actually taken the system apart enough to know if these cars are capable of diverting fresh incoming air
around the heater core?
