I had a GT-R as a rental for the day and at the end of the day told my wife I was selling the BRZ, and saving for a GT-R. Then I got back from my trip, slipped into the BRZ and felt a different kind of excitement when I rolled out of the airport parking garage.
Was it slow compared to the GT-R? Obviously. But as noted, there is something about this car that once you get attached to it makes you smile as soon as you get in. While I would still love a GT-R, I'm still really happy in the BRZ. Although my wife was OK with my plan, a day of driving the BRZ made me realize that this is a car that is worth owning, and continuing to own for a long time.
