That's basically what you have to do. There are naturally going to be some things out of your control, and they're generally much worse.

I'm reminded of a cousin of mine who got an FR-S after she graduated from nursing school, and on a short trip to San Diego, her parents insisted that she take a rental car instead so the car wouldn't get scratched.
