I wouldn't think that it would affect the warranty, as long as it was the same viscosity and GL rating as what is recommended in the owner's manual.

I understand that "Redline" and "Royal Purple" products work good in MTs, but you might have to BYOO (Bring Your Own Oil) to the dealership for the change.

However, if you are conservative, you might run the thought by the service manager.

How many miles on your car??

PS - since you have adjusted the clutch, you might wish to check and make sure the adjusting lock nut is tight ....
