So I'm looking into purchasing a drop in air filter but i can't decide on which one is "best." Just to be clear, I'm not going to be any serious driving, mostly DD. I am currently looking at the WORKS High-Flow Drop-In Filter. Is this any good? Would you recommend something else? Your help is greatly appreciated. thanks!!

Dont get the Works drop in filter. They made bogus claims saying 10 whp and then refused to let any independent shops dyno it when they offered to do it for free if they just sent them one. Common sense from a marketing perspective if your product did get those gains you would have no problem with it and probably sell more. Instead they sold a bunch by hyping it up and by the time someone did dyno it it didnt do any better than all the other after market drop ins that cost half the price of what the WORKS cost.
I wouldnt trust WORKS at all since that whole spectacle. They had a huge thread with people arguing about it and they ignored people who questioned their claims. The filter according to other members here on these forums they say the filter may not filter as well either.
Most of the aftermarket drop in filters perform the same. Just pick one that you like. Dry filters that are able to be cleaned dont perform as well as the oiled filters but with the oil filters you risk over oiling it and getting oil on your MAF. There are a couple threads with dyno's on the filters just do a search
