I'm saving up to go back and finish college up (2 years left). I have some friends that can get me a job once I get a degree. I would say getting into an IT job will be easier. Start off as help desk/general tech support and work your way up.

Idk about graphic design but degrees like english, history, and anthropology have been pretty much useless for awhile now unless you get your masters or PHD. I think most degrees require you to know someone to get you in unless you have tons of credentials and exp. From what i understand IT 2yr degrees pay pretty well and i have a friend who got a job immediately after she finished. A Computer science degree is really marketable as well and i can only imagine it will increase, as of now it is ranked 2nd as the best 4yr degree to get right under Engineering. My buddy was doing an internship over the summer getting $27 an hour and they hired him on part time when school started back up.
