The 3.8 got absolutely annihilated by the Camaro and Mustang. The 2.0T didn't attract to many people from the tried and tested hot fwd: (K20) Civic Si (Screamer), Mazdaspeed 3 (Brute Force), or VW GTI (Europhile).

I know this will get your heart rate up, I hope Scion/Toyota Canada don't do something stupid like this with the pricing. I mean we are a comedic bunch, but Hyundai can't have expected Canadian people to be complete clowns and go for a Genesis Coupe 2.0T GT ($31,149) when there's a nice Mazdaspeed 3 ($29,795)... or a Mustang Premium V6 with the $2000 Performance Pack for less money. And the base 2.0T ($24,899) most likely lost to the K20 Civic Si cult following (I think they [Si] were $23,9XX something? I can't remember).
