i'm a native Angeleno and that scene has never appealed to me for anything other than peeping some fly females on the rare occasion I find myself lurking around Sunset blvd. go to Beverly Hills and you'll find most people there, tourists or not, are all trying to look like they're a "somebody". i'm not into mainstream society, just doing my own thing....whatever that so happens to be. ENKEI FTW!!!
I LOVE Volks, no doubt, but I'm not going to break my neck to own a set. Gram Lights, Enkei or something at that cost will more than suffice.
