I had much nicer things when I was a poor college student than I have now that I've grown up a bit. I also made sacrifices to drive the car I wanted back then (S2K)
Now I drive a 97 Civic HX to work and back just because it pays for itself in gas savings every 9 months lol. Some might call me cheap, but one day you stop caring about what other people think, and start caring about yourself and your future.
