That bright red Volks Wheel logo on the spoke is proof of your authenticity and class. Much like coach hand bags for women must have the double C in bright coloring or lettering.

Why does this matter? It may not matter for most of you. In fact the average joe does not understand this world, unless your a designer. But when you associate yourself with a group of individuals, most particularly people with money. You need to keep up with the eliteism to "fit in". When all of your friends and colleagues have expensive brand name clothing items. Do you come in with knock off brands of the same design? Not unless you want to be ridiculed and looked down upon, maybe even feel a sense of lower self worth against the crowed.

In a similar scenario, at a car meet, if everyone has TE37SLs on their vehicle with the bright red VOLK WHEEL logo on the wheel as proof of their class (basically flaunting their money). How would you feel coming in with knock offs? When your in that situation....there are a lot of thoughts and emotions..just because of that simple difference between you and them.

Volk wheels are typically not wheels average joe wants to play with. At $3000-$6000 a set with tires. But the association with volks are for people who have money..or at least connections.

This is why you would want ..or even not want..that red strip on the wheel. (Lots of psychology involved)
