True, but if the higher trim level becomes more desirable over time it could maintain a higher percentage of it's original value. Only time will tell and how the used car market values used FRS of all varieties in the future. Who knows, the original may be in higher demand. KBB trade value right now on my car with 11k miles on it is $19,333 in Good condition. I didn't have my used car mgr check Manheim's MMR to see what they are bringing at auction so I don't know what actual transaction prices are.

I am fortunate that my lease ends in June because in northeast PA, sports cars and other RWD's take a little bit of a hit coming into winter. My dealership has wholesalers that will buy that stuff off of us over the winter because they can get them cheaper and hold them until the spring. Color can effect resale value as well. I know a few years ago, yellow Jeep Wranglers would bring "all the money" at auction compared to similar Jeeps in a different color.

Long story short, we will all just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
