1) Not really. I'm glad I won't have to pay another $3k-4k for what amount to luxuries. Especially what has been an largely negative user experience with the BeSpoke system. The 2014 Monogram is still, at its core, the same car as mine--mine just weighs a few pounds less, and still drives the same. My only true complaint is standard 2013 head unit. They should have come with the standard 2014 unit, IMO.
2) "Those who waited," if they get this car, will be paying more money, even base MSRP. Every buyer who didn't get a 2013 will be paying more money than I had to. For example, when I got my 2007 tC, it was about $16,900. The base price for the new ones are pushing $20k now. Its a different car at this point, but the MSRP for the FR-S has already increased twice, to my knowledge. Power bump allegedly scheduled for 2015 will increase the price as well. Yet here I will be, car mostly paid off, still tearing through curves and twisties with a stupid smile on my face.
