The thing is... these are CARS. Much more investment than a smartphone. Much, much more investment. People are willing to settle for whatever is made available to them, but don't make fun of people that complain because they want more (and sometimes rightfully so). Because when it's finally available later, you have one person that's angry for not having that option available to them at the time and for being told they're dumb for wanting that option (pipe dream, basically) and the other person looks dumb for dashing someone's dream once what they wanted finally IS released.
Example:
In 2008 I said I wanted my STI with rear fold down seats and quad tip exhausts. My buddy said I was gay and that Subaru would never do that for the STI. Well guess what happened in 2011?
However, did I know that was going to happen three years later? No sir! Now my friend be lookin' like a fool!
