I got mine down for ~$1,000 (western NY). SunTek on full hood, full bumper, full fenders, mirror backs, headlights and fog lights. An extra $300 would include rockers, a-pillers, and roof leading edge.

The installer did a superb job (except one tiny bubble at the edge of my headlight). He recommended only using Meguiar Quik Detailer and non-petroleum car wash soap.

I asked about the Meguiar Quik Wax and his response was:

That will cause the product to dull over time and eventually yellow. Make sure to use the quick detailer and of course remember to wash the car : - )

You have to remember to never use petroleum based products on the film.
