I was also interested in checking out my oil temps and other stuff, and was considering purchasing a Bluetooth OBD Scanner + Torque Pro.
My question is... does the OFT pretty much do everything that the Torque App can? If so, I'll just skip it. If not, can anyone list some of the stuff that the Torque App can do that the OFT cannot?
Just trying to determine if I should get the Torque App now and the OFT later, or if I should just wait and get the OFT only.
Any and all help is appreciated.

I have both and I would definitely spend $20 on the Torque app and a cheap Bluetooth adapter. There really are two completely different products and there is some cool stuff you can do with the Torque app. There are different plugings to overlay data over video, knock monitors and you can configure your own layout. Here's one that I have been running.
