Well, this is peculiar.
So a shipment of cars arrived at our dealership just minutes ago, one of them being a WRB BRZ Limited 6MT. Naturally I walked over to see what was up with it. Thought "oh boy, this is probably a 2014! Let's see what's different with it!" after reading in dealer resources about revised badging, padded knee pads and such.
Upon reviewing the window sticker and confirming that yes, this was indeed a 2014, I cracked the door and saw... nothing different. Puzzled, I closed the door and rushed to the back of the car: same badging. Alright, this was strange. I found myself poring over every inch of the car looking for
something different but could find nothing, nothing at all. Completely identical to the 2013 in every way I could see.
Is it possible the MY changes won't take effect until later in the production line? I'm a bit disappointed, honestly.
Edit: I shouldn't say
completely unchanged. They do of course have Aha smartphone integration AND the same keys from the 2014 Forester w/ keyless (they have an actual Subaru emblem embedded rather than stamped plastic)
