But they do tell me it would be a sexy convertible and I think that the thing that prevented a lot of people from buying was the power. If (and this is a big if) these rumors are true, then I would be interested in finding out who Toyota is talking to.
How about a liftback/hatchback version? The lines are already there. It would look similar to the shooting-brake but be easier to load. Anyone?

i see the liftback. i like it. i also like sedan.
sedan is primarily gonna b aimed at all the supra/rx7/ae86 ppl (ie/ ppl who are now in their 40's and have the money). it makes sense from a marketing standpoint. midlifecrysis as well. all that jazz.
as for power. the car was designed to be modified, hence the low price point for north america. this will become more apparent as the modding community grows and becomes more vocal.
im sure there will be a v6 option for the sedan as well (allowing even more possibilities for all of the current owners).
