Make sure those "TC" lights stay flashing (safety first), save the TC off for autox/trackday/controlled environment. I'm sure all the DRIVE folks would love to talk your ear off on driving techniques (including myself  ) but all I would say is: seat time, seat time, seat time... then more seat time. As long as you are going out for drives, autox or trackdays, the more "in-tune" you'd feel with the car and know exactly what is going on. Confidence/speed comes from knowing the difference between "hmmm feeling iffy, should take that turn slowly" or "feels great  "

I still haven't got to my 3k miles yet :-) and can't wait for more advice. plus of course driving it more.
Also, I went to an autoX on Sunday (as passenger) and saw a lot of 86s. one guy was killing it in his FRS for CS class. I got to sit in his car

unbelievable (the only thing he changed out is his tires, rest are stock)
