As long as you get reputable brand spacers, install them correctly and retorque/recheck everytime you rotate your tires, there are no real cons about spacers.
Some people hate spacers thinking that they aren't safe but lots of professional/amateur racers with more than 500hp run spacers and they are fine.
Unless you have to have that wheels, it is better to have a wheel with correct offsets though. Even though they are safe, you are adding more points of failures.
