I get 28 mpg on a hilly back road commute where my Yaris got 35 mpg, which is pretty good.
The main reason the mpg is a little low is because this car is a bit heavy. Too heavy for a little NA 4 cylinder IMHO. If it had been DIT with taller gears the mpg and the power to weight ratio would have been phenomenal, but it is what it is.
