Well, FRiSson, I wouldn't give up on it just yet.

I'd suggest you wash it with hot water and a dish soap (like Joy), to remove all the old wax.

Next rub it up good with a clay bar.

If you have any spots of tree sap, alcohol will take that off.

Then apply a good quality cleaner/wax.

If it doesn't look good, you might consider taking it to a professional auto detailer.

If it looks good to you, apply a coat of a high quality wax.

I hope you get er shined up ....

If your car isn't garaged/under covered parking, you may consider a car cover.
