Could be, totally could be. BUT Coils is a really common thing to go wrong on any car and I haven't noticed any of the symptoms that are associated with DI failure. Also usually when one coil goes more if not all go at a similar time.
Time will tell. I have 58K more miles of warranty to get it sorted out
