I have been aware of that for a while but had yet to ever be able to find that old T that everyone was talking about (I guess my google-fu failed me or I didn't try very hard). That must have been way back in the day, eh? I honestly never paid too much attention to Toyota before the twins and would likely still be a 1000% Honda guy if they had kept making something ITR or S2000 like... so that logo is unfamiliar to me.
It's still not EXACTLY the same shape... but I can see how if you were to tessellate the top bit it would turn out 90%+ the same. So I'll just keep calling it "houndscarbon" since I know it's not actually houndstooth but is close enough to jokingly call it such.
