Yuuup, it's a big F U to all the people who rely on that paycheck to put food on the table. Glad we elected people concerned about "the economy" so they could stop the single largest employer in the country from writing paychecks.

It's all theoretical though, they don't have that much power, the world keeps turning and 90% of the population continues on as if nothing is different.

Edit: although they could use vacation time to keep the paycheck coming in theory, not sure on the details, I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in.
